The deaddrop 4.7.1 release
deaddrop changes
- In earlier releases, Download sites still required password authentication after a user promotes to SAML/X509-based login. This is now fixed.
- Special chars (, ; \ “ +) in Subject/Issuer would provision X509-authenticated accounts unable to login. These characters are now properly handled.
- Previous releases of Deaddrop could fail in assigning MCS-labels to users. This release back-fills active accounts to get a mcs label as well as relabels the necessary files (fixes #308)
- Dispatchd now retries multiple times in obtaining a MCS label before failing a dispatch when mscd fails to respond.
- A regression in 4.7.0 resulted in shared accounts lacking expiration data. This release fixes the bug as well as updates the shared accounts with correct expiration data.
